A Grade Pins

Minor imperfections upon close inspection

• Small scratches or scuffing on surface
• Slightly low or uneven enamel fill in small areas
• Small specks or bubbles on enamel
• Stray Glitter
• Slightly misaligned screen printing
• Minor enamel discoloration and swirling
• Slightly thicker metal outlines
• Wiggly posts

 

 

 

B Grade Pins

More visible defects

• Moving posts
• Low fill enamel in large areas
• Excess metal around edges of pin
• Foreign materials embedded enamel
• Wrong enamel fill colors
• Missing or badly printed screen printing
• Excessive Bubbles, dents, scratches
• Visible chipped metal plating
• Excessive overfilled enamel

 

 

C Grade Pins

Very visible minor and / or major defects

• Missing posts
• Discolored/tarnished metal plating
• Missing/chipped enamel
